5 Healthy Foods For Newborn Firstborn Moms

The presence of the baby in the life of a husband and wife is a happiness that most couples anticipated. For young mothers who first update do not just concentrate to restore a stretchy body shape after giving birth. Infant health is also very important. 1. Salmon

Like other types of marine fish, salmon has omega-3 fatty acids that are good for the body as a whole. In addition, salmon also has a type of fat called as DHA. DHA is found in small amounts of milk and is good for the baby's nervous system. Twice a week the portion of salmon raises the DHA level in the new mother and is good for both her and her baby. Although salmon is good, a pregnant woman should be careful how much she eats salmon as it may contain mercury. Other seafood is also good but she should stay away from mackerel as the level of mercury is quite high in that regard.

2. Low-fat milk

Low-fat dairy products like milk, cheese and butter are a great choice to get needed vitamin D, vitamin B and calcium for young mothers. Vitamins and calcium not only help the mother, but also strengthen the bones of newborns through breastfeeding. Milk is very important because it strengthens itself. Healthy milk is also good if you are not worried about the fat content in it.

3. Lean beef
Not everyone is a big fan of fish. So as an alternative is low fat beef. Eating lean meats meets the needs of iron and vitamin B12 and protein well. It also gives energy to the mother in taking care of small.

4. Red Rice and Beans
Do not just concentrate on reducing carbohydrate intake to lose weight. Because of the lack of carbohydrates will make the weak and not energized. Brown rice is rich in carbohydrates and nuts is a good source of fiber. Nuts are also a healthy choice for vegetarians.

5. Green vegetables
Green vegetables such as kale are also a must and the best food for new mothers give birth. Cabbage contains iron, folic acid and fiber. A variety of green vegetables are highly recommended for maternal and infant health.
